I’m joining Walking Stars Auckland to raise funds for Kiwi’s affected with cancer.
I’m taking part in the Walking Stars 2021 night time 21km walk again this year. Many are affected each year by a cancer diagnosis or have lost someone.
I’m walking for my beautiful mother who passed in 2015 from multiple myeloma. In multiple myeloma the cancerous plasma cells accumulate in the bone marrow. It affect the healthy blood cells and is a terminal diagnosis.
Every kind donation I receive means the Cancer Society can continue to help our community by providing prevention programmes. They support their services and the funding of very important cancer research.
