Account Wise is in Henderson within minutes of West City, West Auckland. The proprietors are Garth and Ivana Dryland. Ivana’s the main point of contact Ivana has loads of book-keeping experience since first training in 1990 at Gillian Inglis Business College, passing an Executive Secretarial Course, excelling in problem-solving, accountancy and typing accuracy.
In February 1998 Ivana joined the family air conditioning business efficiently managing the office. During the time that followed Ivana taught herself MYOB while transferring away from the previous accounting package. In 2000 Ivana attended some MYOB Jumpstart Accounting software courses to hone the skills learnt.
During 2002 Garth met Ivana and not long after also commenced working in the Family business. In early 2006 they purchased their first property together and married later that year. A couple of years on in 2008 after a change of management they decided to start their own company with the accounting and tax division trading as Account Wise.
2008 as many came to realise was the global financial crisis and companies were going under. Garth and Ivana worked hard to get their business off the ground while helping others to do the same.
More recently in 2011, Ivana (and Garth) moved the Account Wise business practice into the cloud becoming Xero Certified Partners and have since learnt about many useful add-on services for Xero like PaySauce. There are over 500 to choose from in the ecosystem should your circumstances benefit from other functionality.
Both Garth and Ivana strive to meet a high standard in workmanship and expect the same from employees. The company systems make for a solid foundation and are essential especially during expansion. Maintaining consistency and the needs of clients is extremely important.
